The Challenge

A Bare Backyard with Big Potential

The homeowners had a large, underutilized backyard with a steep grade change and no functional outdoor living space. They wanted a multi-level entertaining area that connected to their existing deck while solving drainage issues caused by the slope.

Their vision included a custom paver patio with a unique design element, integrated lighting for evening use, and landscape plantings to soften the hardscape.

Our Approach

Designed to Impress, Built to Last

We started with a detailed site assessment and created 3D renderings so the homeowners could see exactly how the finished space would look. The design featured a multi-level patio with a custom cobblestone circle inlay as the centerpiece.

Retaining walls were engineered to manage the grade change while creating defined spaces for dining, lounging, and entertaining. Integrated wall lighting was planned from the start.

The Result

A Backyard Built for Entertaining

The finished space transformed an unused backyard into a stunning multi-level outdoor living area. The custom circle inlay became the centerpiece of the design, while the integrated lighting extends the usability well into the evening.

The homeowners now host regular gatherings on their new patio and say it’s their favorite part of the home.
