Why Drainage Matters

Protect Your Most Important Investment

1

Protect Your Foundation

Water is the #1 threat to your home's structural integrity. Proper drainage keeps water away from your foundation.

2

Preserve Your Investments

Failed drainage destroys patios, retaining walls, and landscapes. Protect the work you've already paid for.

3

Prevent Erosion

Stop soil loss, washouts, and property damage before they get worse and more expensive to fix.

4

Improve Usability

Eliminate soggy, unusable areas and reclaim your full yard for outdoor living.

5

Reduce Stress

Stop worrying every time it rains. A properly designed system handles water automatically.

6

Avoid Costly Repairs

Prevention costs a fraction of what foundation repair, mold remediation, or landscape replacement costs.

F.A.Q.

Have questions about Drainage? Here are the answers to what homeowners ask us most. If you don’t see yours, we’re happy to help.

Ask us A Question

How do you determine the right drainage solution for my property?

We start with a free site assessment where we evaluate water sources, flow patterns, soil conditions, and problem areas. Based on what we find, we design a custom system using the right combination of drainage methods for your specific situation.

Should I extend my downspouts away from my house?

Absolutely. Downspouts dumping water directly at your foundation are one of the most common causes of water damage. We can connect your downspouts to an underground drainage system that moves water well away from your home.

How long do drainage systems last?

Properly installed drainage systems last 20-30+ years with minimal maintenance. We use quality materials and professional installation techniques to ensure your system performs for decades.

Do you offer financing?

Yes! We partner with financing providers to offer flexible payment plans with competitive rates. Most approvals are quick, and we have multiple options to fit different budgets. We’ll discuss financing during your free consultation and help you find a plan that works for you.

Is drainage something I can DIY?

Yes, but improper drainage installation can redirect water problems to new areas, cause erosion, or make existing issues worse. Professional design ensures water goes where it should and stays away from where it shouldn’t.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We started working with NxGen spring 2025. Started with routine lawn and plant maintenance. Very professional! After we saw their commitment to their customers, we decided to look into long overdue projects such as improved drainage around the sides and back of the house and replacing retaining walls and plants in front of the house. This turned out so beautifully that 2 of our neighbors have started new projects with NxGen. Thank Mark, Patricia, John, Micah and the rest of the NxGen team!
